Tracy Pritchard is a South African artist living in the beautiful Dorset countryside on the South Coast of Britain. Tracy paints a variety of subjects, including wildlife, geode inspired landscapes and large scale abstract paintings. She is a mixed media artist who uses a range of materials, from collage and spray paint to ink, oil paint and acrylic. She uses a rich palette, using a range of tools, including brushes, palette knives, sponges and scrapers. Tracy says, “My paintings evoke an emotional response from the viewer, through the dynamic, light filled and mysterious atmosphere’’. Tracy works in her garden studio, surrounded by oak trees and woodland, usually accompanied by her golden retriever Poppy and black cat, Leo. She has a 19 year old son, Michael and a 16 year daughter, Emma. She is married to Gareth, a stockbroker who supports and encourages her artistic life.
