Biography
Tsukasa Yoshida was born in 1949 as the eldest son of Toshi Yoshida. He has continued the heritage and tradition of his family and became an artist with the focus on woodblock printmaking, while other memebers of the widespread Yoshida family ventured also into other techniques and forms of artistic expression. In 1981 a famous exhibition was held in the famous Philadelphia Art Museum, titled Three Generations. The exhibition was entirely devoted to the Yoshida family. Tsukioka represented the third generation in this museum art show.
